Last night at Cinefamily, there was a showing of Nosferatu and a Q&A after with the director, Werner Herzog, who is my favorite.
There were so many fans swarming him so the only way I could think to get a photo with him was to resort to animal instincts: The Photobomb.
It is quite a scary image but thankfully, entertaining, too.
He was so great to listen to, very funny, charming.
Shyness is nice,

This is my apology to Game of Thrones fans who were irritated by my comments in the Buzzfeed video.
Actually, it’s a character based on what commenters think I am but they still didn’t catch on.

Early in the evening, someone started texting me about this Game of Thrones video I’m in. They were very concerned and commented, “You are being torn apart in the Youtube Comments. Oh man. I’m so sorry.”
I’m not! I was busy all day and intrigued despite their warning to not look, to ignore it all. This is all very funny to me.
I still haven’t seen Game of Thrones.

Artist Bartholomäus Traubeck has custom-built a record player that is able to “play” cross-sectional slices of tree trunks. The result is his artpiece “Years,” an audio recording of tree rings being read by a computer and turned into music, much like a record player’s needle reads the grooves on an LP.
